WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - State police say they’re investigating a series of armed robberies in New Castle County.

Three of the robberies occurred on Saturday, and the fourth was early Sunday morning. They took place at a Dunkin Donuts in Wilmington, a pizza shop in Wilmington, a store at the Wilmington Flea Market and a Wawa convenience store in Newark.

Police say in three of the robberies, the suspect description is similar: a man between ages 45 and 50, sometimes wearing a hooded sweatshirt. In those three incidents, the robber was armed with a knife or tire iron.

The robbery at the flea market store had a different suspect description, and the man was armed with a gun.

No one was injured in any of the robberies.
