BOSTON (AP) - Television show producer and writer Shonda Rhimes is headlining the largest annual conference for women in Massachusetts.

The Massachusetts Conference for Women takes place Thursday at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

The annual gathering, now in its 11th year, hosts thousands of women for a full day of “networking, inspiration, professional development and personal growth.”

Conference sessions are lead by experts in business, philanthropy, health, finance, media and professional development.

Rhimes, who is the creator of the television series Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal, is among the nonprofit and nonpartisan event’s keynote speakers.

Sophia Amoruso, founder of clothing retailer Nasty Gal, author Adam Grant and artist Candy Chang are among the other speakers.

The opening night on Wednesday includes other speakers and live entertainment.
