CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) - A Boston-based consulting firm will host a summit on innovation, big data and cybersecurity to identify challenges facing sectors of the economy in Massachusetts, New York and throughout New England.

Mass Insight Global Partnerships is bringing together leaders from industry, universities and government for the conference.

Experts in the areas of health and information technology, life sciences, advanced manufacturing and financial services will explore ways in which collaboration and resource sharing between universities and industry can maintain the Northeast as a center of excellence.

The summit will be held Wednesday at Genzyme in Cambridge.

Dr. Edward Benz Jr., the president and chief executive of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, will deliver the keynote address.
