BOISE, Idaho (AP) - A 5-year-old boy who has been hospitalized for months after being struck by a van in Boise is set to be released.

KTVB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/21Ij45I ) that Max Wyatt is scheduled to make his way back to Boise on Wednesday. He has been recovering in a Salt Lake City hospital since the Sept. 23 accident.

The boy had been riding a bike when he was hit by the minivan. He sustained multiple injuries, including a collapsed lung, broken pelvis and broken left leg.
