EBENSBURG, Pa. (AP) - Officials in two western Pennsylvania counties are mourning after members of their county councils died over the weekend.

In Cambria County, 75-year-old Kathy Holtzman died Sunday following a brief illness. The resident of Richland Township, near Johnstown, was the first woman to be elected commissioner in the county. Her funeral will be Wednesday.

In Erie County, in northwestern Pennsylvania, Councilman Paul Fatica has died.

Fatica was recently elected to his third four-year term. He represented the council’s 1st District, which includes most of Millcreek Township, an Erie suburb.

Fatica died Sunday at home. His family says funeral arrangements were pending.
