FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) - Officials say the Tennessee River is still rising at the northwest Alabama city of Florence, and a flood warning has been issued.

The National Weather Service says the river will likely crest just above flood level on Monday afternoon.

The weather service is predicting only minor flooding until the water recedes by Tuesday afternoon. Significant rain isn’t predicted before the weekend.
