JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - The Bridger-Teton National Forest has completed a sale of the agency’s 10-acre property in downtown Jackson.

Real estate agent Jay Kornoff tells the Jackson Hole News & Guide (https://bit.ly/1OITF6B ) that Kirk and Jim Hansen, brothers from Idaho Falls, Idaho, finalized the purchase Friday.

The Hansens own an Idaho Falls-based fuel distributing company.

The U.S. Forest Service has been trying to sell the property for years. Three previous deals with other buyers fell through because of uncertainty surrounding the land’s zoning.

The final sale price was not immediately available. The asking price was $12 million.
