CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. (AP) - A homeless man has been indicted on charges he allegedly killed a 66-year-old Rockland County man he met through a Craigslist advertisement for a roommate.

The Journal News says (https://lohud.us/1XVpfP3 ) a grand jury handed up charges including second-degree murder last week against 19-year-old Dylan Lentini in the slaying of Michael Wimbert.

Police say Lentini took a train from a Manhattan homeless shelter to meet Wimbert on Nov. 27. Police say Lentini apparently lived in Wimbert’s West Nyack apartment until Wimbert was found stabbed to death days later.

Authorities have said there was no personal relationship between the victim and suspect before Lentini responded to the ad.

Lentini is likely to be arraigned on the indictment this week. He pleaded not guilty through his public defender after his arrest last week.
