COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Gov. Nikki Haley and her family are welcoming the public to see the Governor’s Mansion decorated for the holidays.

Haley’s office says the governor, her husband Michael and their two children are welcoming the public from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday. No reservations are needed.

While the open house is free the Haley’s are encouraging guests to bring canned goods to be donated to the Harvest Hope Food Bank.

The Columbia Garden Club has decorated the Mansion every Christmas since 1981.

Guided tours are also being offered Tuesday through Thursday and again Dec. 15 through Dec. 17. The tours, being held at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m each day, are free but reservations are required and can be made by calling (803) 737-1710.
