LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Little Rock police say the death of a woman who fell from a moving vehicle on Kanis Road was accidental.

Police say a witness reported seeing the woman being thrown from a truck. But after conducting interviews, authorities said Monday that 34-year-old Korsha Rogers’ death has been ruled accidental.

Rogers was found lying unresponsive on Kanis Road on Tuesday and died from her injuries at a Little Rock hospital. Police said in a news release that the driver of the truck told investigators that Rogers climbed out of the passenger side window on her own.

Police say the death was ruled accidental based on a medical examiner’s report.

The driver was released without any charges, but police say the case file will be forwarded to prosecutors.
