PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Emergency crews sprang into action after a person fell on train tracks at Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station.

WCAU-TV (https://bit.ly/1QqH4oL ) reports the person fell off a platform around 5:30 a.m. Monday.

Firefighters and police rescued the person from the tracks.

The person was taken to a hospital. There is no word on the extent of injuries.

The person’s name was not released.
