GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - A Greenville teen has been arrested after a man was shot to death outside a public housing complex.

Greenville County Coroner B. Parks Evans says 23-year-old Jermaine Travez Cureton was shot early Saturday in the parking lot of Westview Homes in south Greenville. Evans says two men brought Cureton to St. Francis Hospital and left him there with a gunshot wound.

Police later identified 18-year-old Angelo Horace Taylor as a wanted suspect. The Greenville Police Department says the County Sheriff’s Office arrested Taylor Saturday night.

Taylor faces charges of murder, attempted armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Warrants say Taylor tried to rob Cureton, who was sitting in a car outside Westview Homes. They say Taylor shot Cureton when he resisted.
