NEW YORK (AP) - New York City police say they’re looking for two men who they say ran up behind another man in Manhattan and stabbed him in the back.

Authorities released surveillance video of the suspects on Wednesday.

The attack happened shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday in Manhattan’s East Village neighborhood.

Police say the 49-year-old victim was standing on the street when the two men approached him and stabbed him several times.

The man was taken to a local hospital and treated for his injuries.
