NEWTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware police say a father and son have been arrested for drug and gun possession.

Police say 23-year-old Elijah Foreman, Jr. and his father were arrested on Friday.

Police say officers stopped Foreman while he was driving in Millsboro and discovered a handgun in his car that had been reported stolen in a recent area robbery. Police say they also found $2,800 in suspected drug sales, 11 grams of crack, half a gram of marijuana, 10 doses of counterfeit heroin, drug paraphernalia and ammunition.

Police say a search of Foreman’s home uncovered 42 grams of crack, 10 grams of cocaine, 120 doses of counterfeit heroin and more drug paraphernalia.

Police say they also arrested Foreman’s father, Elijah Foreman, Sr.

Police say both men are facing various drug charges.
