TEXARKANA, Texas (AP) - A grand jury will examine the deaths of two people killed in 2013 at a Northeast Texas ranch under mysterious circumstances.

Bowie County District Attorney Jerry Rochelle tells the Texarkana Gazette (https://bit.ly/1yqA8Ml ) that he will present the case of the deaths at Prissy Chrissy Ranch to grand jurors this week.

Authorities say a man told them he shot two people trying to break into his home on the ranch. Johnathon Lee Hill and Timber Rena Taylor were pronounced dead at the scene.

Hill’s family has filed a wrongful death suit saying the two were out of gas and looking for help when they were shot.
