BEREA, Ohio (AP) - Tractor trailers and other large vehicles are banned from using the Ohio Turnpike until at least noon Monday because of snowy conditions in northern Ohio.

The turnpike commission has issued a news release that lists various vehicle types that are banned from using the 241-mile toll road. Those vehicle types include: triple-trailer combination vehicles; box-type double-trailer combinations longer than 90 feet; mobile home and office trailers; boats and horse trailers towed by passenger vehicles or pick-up trucks; and high-profile campers and enclosed trailers large enough for a person to stand up inside.

The National Weather Service is predicting that nearly a foot of snow could fall on northern Ohio through Monday night along with blustery conditions.
