DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Institute of Arts is offering free bus rides to and from the museum on Saturday, March 7 for Oakland County residents.

Round-trip bus transportation and admission are free, but reservations are required and can be made by phone or online. The buses will be available from White Lake Township Library, Farmington City Gall, Hunter Community Center in Clawson, Springfield Township Library in Davisburg, Paint Creek Cider Mill in Oakland Township and Downtown Milford.

Visitors will be able to browse the museum’s collection, view Rembrandt’s “Self Portrait with Shaded Eyes,” which is on loan from the Leiden Collection in New York and take advantage of three free exhibitions.

The DIA Studio also will be open for visitors who wish to create their own works of art.
