TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Federal prosecutors say a lawsuit against a Tulsa hotel owner for allegedly discriminating against a disabled Air Force veteran because he was accompanied by a service dog at check-in has been resolved.

But an attorney for the hotel says the matter is still being litigated.

The government announced Monday an agreement between Jeffrey Crockett and Sairam Enterprises Inc. LLC, the owner of the Days Inn and Conference Center.

William Lunn, an attorney for the hotel, says the matter is still in litigation and declined comment on the announced resolution.

The lawsuit alleged Crockett was refused a room in 2010 because his German shepherd service dog was with him.

The announced settlement calls for the hotel to pay Crockett $5,000 and train all its employees on the Americans With Disabilities Act.
