HELENA, Mont. (AP) - A Great Falls woman has claimed a $50,000 Powerball prize about seven months after her boyfriend won a $200,000 Montana Cash jackpot.

Montana Lottery officials say Ruth Coles claimed her winnings Monday. She bought her ticket for Saturday’s drawing at the Loaf ‘N Jug on First Avenue North in Great Falls.

Coles says her boyfriend, Robert, encouraged her to pay the extra $1 for the Power Play option, which increased her winnings from $10,000 to $50,000.
