LIMA, Ohio (AP) - The trial of a man accused of double slayings and setting a house on fire is set to begin this week in northwest Ohio.

A jury was seated Monday in the trial of Hager Church. Church has pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated murder and aggravated arson in the deaths of 45-year-old Massie Flint and 54-year-old Rex Hall in Lima. He could face the death penalty if convicted of aggravated murder.

The Lima News (https://bit.ly/1vAVNWF ) reports that Church is charged with killing Flint and her boyfriend on June 14, 2009.

Opening statements are set to begin Wednesday morning in Allen County Common Pleas Court.

Church is already serving a life sentence with no chance of parole for a 2010 slaying. He was convicted of fatally beating a woman.
