COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio man who witnessed a weekend highway crash helped pull two women from a burning SUV - but he says he’s haunted by the two people he couldn’t save.

David McKim tells The Columbus Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1veOONe ) he was on his way home when he witnessed the SUV crash on Interstate 70 early Sunday.

The SUV crossed the median and crashed into a poll. The 62-year-old McKim of Cambridge managed to get two injured women out of the burning Jeep Liberty before it was consumed by fire.

A third woman was trapped inside and died. A fourth woman had been ejected during the crash and was already dead, he said.

The women who got out remain hospitalized with serious injuries.
