WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) - Wheeling police are investigating the theft of about $30,000 worth of toy trains and accessories from a museum.

Police tell WTRF-TV (https://bit.ly/1CdG5O6 ) the items were taken during a burglary at the Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning.

Police say the burglar or burglars broke into glass display cases and removed the trains and accessories.

Investigators hope the items’ uniqueness will generate information leading to their recovery.
