KETCHIKAN, Alaska (AP) - Ketchikan police say an 82-year-old local woman whose body was found in Tongass Narrows was apparently confused when she walked into the channel.

KRBD (https://is.gd/afORlj) reports the body of the woman was found Monday on the rocks behind the Cedar Point Condominiums.

Ketchikan deputy police chief Josh Dossett says no foul play is suspected. He says it appears there were some “medical issues” with the woman, whose name was not immediately released.

The woman’s body was recovered from the water.
