GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - A 24-year-old Harlem man is charged with involuntary manslaughter for a car crash that killed a passenger last spring.

KOJM-AM reports Sean Stiffarm pleaded not guilty Monday during a hearing in U.S. District Court in Great Falls.

Prosecutors allege Stiffarm was driving recklessly on May 10, 2014, when his vehicle went airborne on Highway 55 near Hays. Stiffarm, 19-year-old Janika Doney of Harlem and another man were thrown from the vehicle. None were wearing seat belts.

Doney died of her injuries.
