LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say a 52-year-old man who disappeared after his 88-year-old father was found dead last year is due in a Laughlin court on a felony murder charge.

Thomas Supranovich is due Thursday in Justice Court after being returned in custody this week from Michigan to Nevada.

Police say Supranovich suffocated his father, Demetry Supranovich, with a pillow before the older man was found dead in August at his home in Laughlin.

Thomas Supranovich left town by the time an autopsy determined Demetry Supranovich’s death was a homicide.
