CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The West Virginia Board of Education has two new members.

Beverly Kingery and James Wilson took the oath of office Thursday during the board’s monthly meeting in Charleston.

Kingery is the retired superintendent of schools in Nicholas County. Wilson is a Marshall County Board of Education member and a retired dentist.

They were appointed to the board by Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin earlier this month.

Each serves nine-year terms.
