MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say two men accused of stealing cattle from south Alabama and selling it in Montgomery have been arrested.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency spokesman Steve Jarrett said Friday that 25-year-old Steven Bryan Miller and 18-year-old Christopher John Atkins of Opp, Alabama and 23-year-old Eric Michael Rucker of Bonifay, Florida are charged with theft of property.

Jarrett says Alabama Agricultural and Rural Crime Unit investigators suspect the men stole a cattle trailer and seven cows from a farm near Florala - near the state’s border with Florida.

Jarrett says the three men are being held on $30,000 bond each in the Covington County jail.
