LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson has announced the hiring of four top administrators to the Department of Human Services.

The Republican governor on Friday announced former chief counsel Mark White has been promoted to fill one of the agency’s two deputy director positions. Hutchinson said White’s previous experience made him an ideal candidate.

Three other service directors were also announced. They’re all scheduled to begin work by the end of the month.

Hutchinson says he is confident the new hires will support fiscally responsible policies.
