DALLAS (AP) - Dallas police have saved a driver trapped in his upside-down car in a creek during a water rescue captured by an officer’s body camera.

Police on Thursday released the dramatic video in which officers are heard yelling to the driver that they’re going to get him out.

The man wasn’t hurt in the accident last Friday night, Feb. 6, as he lost control, his car went off a road and down about 50 feet into a creek. Someone passing by saw the accident and called police.

Several officers rushed down the brushy embankment and into the water, which appeared to be a couple of feet deep.

The body camera shows an officer using a baton to break a window. Officers pulled the driver out.

He was alone in the vehicle.
