TOUTLE, Wash. (AP) - The Cowlitz County sheriff’s office says a fisherman found a man’s body lying along the bank of the South Toutle River in southwest Washington.

Chief Criminal Deputy Charlie Rosenzweig said the body found Thursday has been turned over to the coroner. The man was not immediately identified and the cause of death is not yet known.

The body was found about three miles south of the town of Toutle.

Rosenzweig said detectives were not releasing any additional details.
