PHOENIX (AP) - An El Mirage man has been sentenced to five years in prison in a child pornography case.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 51-year-old James Robert DeSilva also was sentenced Friday to lifetime probation with sex offender terms.

DeSilva had pleaded not guilty last February to 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

He was arrested in the case in January 2014.

Authorities say they received a tip through Child Protective Services of an internet protocol address that was sharing child pornography files.

County Sheriff’s officials say the the IP address belonged to DeSilva.

At the time of his arrest, DeSilva worked as an IT specialist for the Arizona Department of Real Estate.
