INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The athletic director of an Indianapolis high school has been placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation.

The Franklin Township Community School Corporation announced Thursday that Burt Austin has been suspended from his job since Monday. According to a press release, school district officials cannot comment further on the investigation or allegations against Austin because it’s a personnel matter.

Austin is the athletic director and football coach at Franklin Central High School.
