BOAZ, Ala. (AP) - Police say a lost cellphone led to the arrest of an Alabama man on child pornography charges.

Boaz police say an investigation began after someone found a cellphone in the parking lot outside a business in Boaz.

The person began trying to figure out who might own the phone and discovered images that appeared to be child pornography.

The phone was turned over to Boaz police, who obtained a warrant to search for photos on the device.

Authorities say 56-year-old Kenneth Wayne Ennis of Boaz was arrested following an investigation. He’s charged with four counts of child pornography and four counts of producing pornography.

Court records aren’t yet available to show whether Ennis has a defense lawyer. Ennis is jailed in Marshall County with bond set at $500,000.
