TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John D. Doak’s office is marking the opening of a new school storm shelter in Tulsa.

Doak attended a ceremony Thursday to mark Lindbergh Elementary School’s launch of its new library that doubles as a storm shelter. 

Lindbergh is the first school to incorporate storm shelters within the Tulsa school district.

Dozens like it are planned in a $415 million bond package that will go to voters on March 3.
