UMATILLA, Ore. (AP) - Umatilla police say they arrested a burglary suspect who was found asleep in a resident’s garage.

The East Oregonian reports (https://bit.ly/1FHHdwT ) the resident called authorities on Monday to report somebody had broken into his garage and loaded up tools and other goods into one of his vehicles.

He also reported he’d found a man sleeping on the seat of a second vehicle.

Police said they arrested 28-year-old Joseph Arthur Manning of nearby Irrigon on burglary, meth possession and other charges.
