OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - A Mississippi man will be sentenced on March 26 in the deaths of two motorcyclists on the Natchez Trace.

Donnie William Sartain of Tishomingo pleaded guilty in federal court in Oxford last November.

The 50-year-old Sartain pleaded guilty to two counts of involuntary manslaughter. He was indicted in last August on two counts of driving under the influence resulting in death, and two counts of negligent homicide/manslaughter. He was initially charged with two counts of murder.

Sartain’s charges stem from a wreck on Aug. 6, when authorities say his truck crossed the center line on the Natchez Trace in Prentiss County and struck a motorcycle, killing Gerard Nasult and Pauline Demeres, both 56, of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada.
