LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming will be without leading scorer Larry Nance Jr. for a third straight game because of illness.

Nance has mononucleosis.

He missed games against Air Force and San Diego State and was expected to sit out Saturday’s game in Laramie against San Jose State.

Nance’s absence has been a big blow to Wyoming (19-6 overall, 8-4 Mountain West). The Cowboys are 0-2 without Nance.

He leads the Cowboys in scoring with 16.3 points a game and rebounding with 7.2 a game. He also averages 1.2 blocks a game.
