GASTON, Ind. (AP) - State police say Interstate 69 southbound near Gaston in Delaware County is open after being closed for more than four hours because of multiple crashes caused by whiteout conditions.

No injuries were reported in the accidents that occurred early Saturday afternoon. Police said drivers should expect stoppages and slow traffic through the area for hours as the backup clears and crews continue to work to remove crashed vehicles.
