TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say they have made an arrest in the sexual assault of a female jogger.

Sgt. Pete Dugan says 23-year-old Caleb Diaz was charged Friday with sexual assault and kidnapping based on physical evidence.

Dugan says Diaz was already in Pima County Jail because of an arrest Thursday on an unrelated warrant. It is unclear if Diaz has an attorney.

According to police, the victim was jogging around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at Santa Cruz River Park when a man grabbed her from behind.

The victim says the suspect threatened her and implied he had a weapon. He then allegedly forced her to the ground and sexually assaulted her. He then fled the scene on foot.
