MILWAUKEE (AP) - Darien Walker scored 18 points, hitting all but one of his four shots from behind the arc, to lead Valparaiso to a 62-55 win over Milwaukee on Sunday.

Alec Peters added 15 points and pulled down eight rebounds while Tevonn Walker poured in 10 of his 12 points in the second half as Valparaiso (24-4, 11-2 Horizon League) won its sixth straight to remain alone atop the conference standings.

Trailing by five at the break, Valparaiso took control in the second half with an 11-2 run capped by a bucket from Darien Walker to make it 51-45 with 4:55 left. Keith Carter sank the go-ahead bucket during the run and the Crusaders protected the lead down the stretch.

Matt Tiby and Steve McWhorter led Milwaukee (10-16, 5-7) with 14 points apiece and J.J. Panoske added 10 points.
