PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police say they have located a car being sought after a teenager fell from its roof in northeast Philadelphia and later died.

Police said a 16-year-old male was seen climbing onto the roof of a small white car which then drove west at about 11:15 p.m. Friday. They said it was unclear whether the youth had come from the car or “he had walked up to a random car.”

Police said the youth fell from the moving vehicle several blocks away, and the car kept going. The unconscious youth died shortly after 5 p.m. at Aria Torresdale hospital. His name was not released.

Police said Sunday afternoon that the vehicle and its driver had been located, and no arrests were made while the investigation continues.
