TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Another snowstorm is headed to New Jersey.

Snow is expected to start falling across the state by early Monday night, and it could get heavy at times after midnight before tapering off after daybreak on Tuesday.

Anywhere from 4 to 6 inches is expected in southern Jersey, which is under a winter storm warning issued by the National Weather Service. A winter weather advisory is in effect for central Jersey, which could see 2 to 5 inches of snow, while slightly lesser amounts are expected in northern Jersey.

The latest storm comes as a bitter cold wave finally starts to leave the region. Temperatures were near zero early Monday, with wind chills as low as minus 20 reported in some areas.
