PALMER, Mass. (AP) - Officials say they’ve rescued the driver of a vehicle that plunged from a Massachusetts Turnpike bridge into the icy Quaboag River.

ABC 40 reports (https://bit.ly/1JmwCgE ) that public safety officials said the vehicle went over the bridge at about 7 a.m. Monday.

The driver was pulled from the river shortly before 8 a.m. and was treated for exposure as were several officers.

No other injuries were reported.
