RADFORD, Va. (AP) - Warren Gillis scored the last eight points of the game and Coastal Carolina came back to beat Radford 65-59 on Monday.

The Chanticleers (19-8, 10-5) tied Radford (19-9, 10-5) for second in the Big South, a half-game behind leaders High Point and Charleston Southern.

Badou Diange was 7 of 10 from the floor for 19 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and made all four 3-point attempts to lead Coastal Carolina. Josh Cameron had 16 points with four 3-pointers, Marcus Freeman had 14 points with a career-high 16 rebounds and Gillis finished with 12.

Coastal Carolina trailed 30-25 at halftime and was down much of the second half until Cameron’s jumper provided a 53-52 lead with 5:59 left. After some back-and-forth, Gillis hit a jumper to tie it at 59, then another moments later, and he made four consecutive free throws to score the final eight points of the game.

Javonte Green led Radford with 18 points.
