EXTON, Pa. (AP) - Charges have been filed against the driver of a pickup truck that crashed into a minivan, killing two peoples in suburban Philadelphia.

Twenty-five-year-old Thomas Muir of Media is charged in Chester County with driving under the influence and homicide by vehicle in Saturday’s crash.

Police said his truck slammed into the minivan just before 7 p.m. Saturday on Route 100 in Exton, killing two teenagers who were thrown from the vehicle. Authorities aren’t releasing the victims’ identities, but say they were 18 and 19 years old. Four other people in the minivan were treated at a nearby hospital.

Muir was being held at the Chester County Prison. Court documents don’t indicate whether he has a lawyer and a listed phone number for him couldn’t be found Monday.
