UTICA, N.Y. (AP) - Police investigating a report of shots fired found a man lying dead with gunshot wounds in the parking lot of a public housing complex in Utica.

Utica police have not released the name of the victim found early Monday at Six Nations Apartments.

No suspect has been identified.

Utica Police Chief Mark Williams tells the Utica Observer-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1AeMPgu ) that 90 minutes after the gunshot victim was found, at least 12 shots were fired into a house and vehicle around 1:30 a.m. Monday. The house is about 2 miles from the apartments.

Police say the house is the same address where a 24-year-old man was shot during a house party early Saturday. He’s recovering.
