LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming’s leading scorer Larry Nance Jr. is showing improvement but is expected to miss his fourth straight game because of illness.

Nance has been recovering from mononucleosis.

He missed games against Air Force, San Diego State and San Jose State. The Cowboys (20-6, 9-4 Mountain West) are 1-2 during his absence.

Wyoming plays at Nevada on Tuesday night.

Nance leads the Cowboys in scoring with 16.3 points a game and rebounding with 7.2 a game. He also averages 1.2 blocks a game.
