HOUSTON (AP) - Authorities have increased to $75,000 the reward for information leading to an arrest in the slaying last year of a family of four, including two children, in their suburban Houston home.

Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia on Monday announced the reward has been increased from the $70,000 officials announced last summer.

Crime Stoppers is offering the reward for information on the deaths of 50-year-old Maoye Sun, his 49-year-old wife Mei Xie and their 7- and 9-year-old sons.

Authorities have said a motive in the killings remains unclear.

Deputies discovered the bodies Jan. 30, 2014, in the family’s Cypress home. Investigators say the husband was last seen alive leaving work on Jan. 24.
