SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - Authorities in Springfield say they have found a third body in a fire-damaged house in the southwestern Missouri city.

The Springfield News-Leader (https://sgfnow.co/1Lg1SJS) reports that investigators have not identified the victims or what caused their deaths before they were found by firefighters after the blaze reported about 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

The possible relationship of the three people also was not immediately clear.

Police say three children that lived at the home were later found safely with a relative in another county.
