ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - The arctic cold has killed at least two Pennsylvania residents.

A coroner says 86-year-old Raymond Sokalsky died Thursday morning in Allentown as a result of hypothermia.

The Morning Call reports (https://bit.ly/19CZ8ul ) sanitation workers found Sokalsky lying outside his home about 4 a.m. It was 13 degrees at the time.

Sokalsky was pronounced dead at a hospital about two hours later.

In central Pennsylvania, meanwhile, a coroner ruled Thursday that a 66-year-old Shamokin woman died of hypothermia along with pre-existing medical conditions. Ellen Jackson died in a hospital emergency room on Monday.
